In March 2015, promotion into the Championship for Swindon Town was a real possibility.
However, between the turn of the year and the end of February, Town only registered four victories, two draws and four losses. This meant some fans started to get on the backs of the players.
This led to Wes Foderingham turning to the Town End briefly in frustration and shouting something to the Swindon faithful in response to the crowd voicing their displeasure at the players possibly throwing away their chance at automatic promotion.
After noticing this turn from support to frustration a handful of Swindon fans put into action the idea of an away day display at Port Vale in March to show the players we were still behind them. With the help of TrustSTFC, we put on our fist display.
Things only grew from here including hundreds of pounds in donations from Swindon fans to buy as many streamers as we could carry for two great play-off semi final matches against Sheffield United.
The season climaxed in Town taking a 4-0 hammering from a strong Preston North End side where the only highlight for us and a lot of other Swindon fans was the 8,000 seat card mosaic at Wembley behind the home goal.
